Our Trailer

Locations

We used our college common room for the setting of our 'Big Brother' house. We needed a large open space that was believable as a large house. We tried to make the location look more authentic, however in the narrative of the film the location is suppose to me mediocre, so we didn't want it to look to professional.

We used a dark room to film the antagonist and we used 'night view'. We wanted somewhere that was completely black to match the antagonists scarf. We wanted everything about the shot to be dark and bland as it fits the dialogue and the character.

We filmed this again in the common room, this time made the room dark to represent the juxtaposition from the normal to the frightening.  We tried to not use any lighting at all however in order to film with our camera we allowed some day light into the other end of the room, we feel the overall lighting worked very well.
